Our passion is that each and every person living at Bethshan will enjoy as full and active a lifestyle as possible. All are treated as individuals and encouraged to exercise choice in all aspects of their care. We hope both residents and their families will feel welcomed and at home here. Visiting hours are not restricted and we endeavour to keep rules and regulations to a minimum.
Each resident is looked after in accordance with an individually-tailored Care Plan. They are assigned a Key Worker who will take a special interest in them and their relatives, involving them in planning all aspects of the resident’s care. We employ an up-to-date electronic care management system. There are qualified nurses on duty 24 hours a day and this is supplemented by-regular visits by a local GP.
We arrange physiotherapy and chiropody where required and we receive regular visits from a local foot health specialist.

Our energetic and creative activities co-ordinators organise a wide range of pursuits to cater for all interests. Regular events include theme days, games, cookery, gardening and pamper sessions. Activities take place each day Monday to Friday and on special occasions. We also arrange visits from entertainers to suit most tastes including and outings are occasionally undertaken. We have a good relationships with local schools and nurseries and the children bring freshness and energy . Residents are encouraged to continue to participate in activities outside the Home wherever possible.
We have a vibrant spiritual life at Bethshan with a dedicated Chaplain who is available on request for personal visits to residents as well as organising the popular weekly worship service. He also offers support to next-of-kin and staff members. We also welcome ministers from other churches and residents from other faiths are encouraged to maintain contact with their community.
Family and friends are always welcome to participate in our activities programme along with their loved one.
